Treatment-resistant Depression

Treatment resistant depression occurs when a person has been treated for depression but their symptoms have not improved. People who are resistant to treatment may need to speak with their primary care doctor to change medication. 

Symptoms:

  • Lack of response to anti-depressants
  • Severe episodes of depression 
  • High anxiety
